G.N.M (General Nursing and Midwifery)

Zenith Institute Of Nursing Sciences Offer courses General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). It is a 3 years program designed to prepare students to work efficiently as members of the healthcare community. This program encompasses subjects like Nursing Fundamentals, First Aid, Bio-Science, Behavioral Science, Nutrition, Child Health Nursing and much more. With its Internship program in the 3rd year, the program also trains future health professionals to provide effective nursing care and assist doctors in surgical procedures, and adeptly handle patients during emergencies.

Admission Eligibility Criteria ...

Duration: 3 Years


  • Only Female Candidates can Apply
  • The applicant must be a citizen of India. Must be domicile of West Bengal. Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal uninterruptedly for at least last ten years till 31.12.2022.
  • Maximum age 35 years as on 31.12.2023.The applicant's age must be at least 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.12.2023 i.e., the applicant should have been born on or before 31.12.2006.

  • Minimum educational qualification: a) Must pass '10+2' examination from any recognized Board (1) with at least 40% marks in aggregate
  • Must pass English in (10+2) examination.
  • Candidates passing (10+2) in Vocational Stream must be from the Health Care Science discipline.
  • Medical Fitness Certificate : All candidates must be medically fit for the course and produce a Medical Fitness Certificate in the format at the time of admission.
  • Language: Must be able to read, write and express in Bengali and/or Nepali.


Admission process ...

Admissions to both GNM and B.Sc Nursing programs are conducted as per the guidelines of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE).

  • Class 12th Equivalent Marks Card & Board Certificate
  • Residential Certificate

  • Medical Fitness certificate
  • Caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/cat1 students only)
  • 10 Copy recent color passport size photo (Not More than 2 months old)
